I don't think so. However there will be minor disasters like the Tsunami/Earthquake/Radiation leak in Japan. When humans do not listen to nature, this is the way nature responds. No human can control the nature. However it is not acceptable that innocent people die for few big people who destroy the nature to live luxuries lives. I'm sure all rich people & politicians had escaped before the Tsunami and It is the ordinary people who paid by their lives. Almost all countries who name themselves as Developed are destroying this beautiful world of all of us. No one can use their missiles to fight with nature. You have seen the destructive power of water that destroyed Japan in few seconds.
2012 will be the beginning of a new era. It will be the time of ordinary people. So people should unite and push authorities to stop polluting the environment, reduce emission of dangerous gasses, grow trees as much as possible, replace concrete forests with green forests, learn to love & respect each other, accept both rich & poor, etc.... If all humans can respect each other without considering race, creed, colour, religion, ethnic group, etc... the world will become non other than the 7th heaven.
As Albert Einstein predicted Buddhism will become the only religion that can cop with modern scientific inversions. Buddhism & Science are becoming close to each other with Quantum physics, TimeSpace theory, etc.... Everything is time dependant. Everything turns to wave and mass periodically. When the mind is so much slowed down, it will be possible to see all objects disappear when it comes to wave form and appear when it comes to mass form. Not only that. All elements are reacting each other and create news forms. Remember the story that Lord Buddha has given a white piece of cloth to a little monk to rub and notice it turn dirty? And after he noticed that everything we define as good or bad are subject to change.

.free is garbage in my opinion because its really not free, they are in a business called the stick and the carrot, get as many interested users into the pool, leave them on the system for at least until they feel safe, now charge them to hell
