Easy Integrating GPS Module

Post by Magneto » Wed Feb 03, 2010 8:50 am

TIM-LF GPS Receiver Module is a easy to integrate GPS module with microcontrollers. This unit is from Ublox.
This has serial interface to integrate with a microcontroller and we can initialise the GPS module to work upto 115200 bps.

This is the data sheet

GPS Module seems to be operating at 3.3V. If I use a MCU with 5V high logic level. Will I have to use logic level conversion?.

I think I am going to need conversion. :?:

MAX3232 will do the job (not MX232).
