Post by Face » Sat Oct 02, 2010 11:47 am

Make GIF animations(Not only GIF,Animations)

I wanna make some animations which can use for webs.
I do some work in ULEED COOL 3D.
Can you tell me about the software that can I use for my future work.?

If you can give me links to get them.It will be a great help for me.

If I explain the it in theoretical computer science, I would have to tell you about 3D geometry, motion, etc.. mostly applied mathematics. Also have to tell you about GIF formats. How the animated GIFs are working etc... But you only need to learn how to make them using application software, right?

When we talk about animation software we usually use to design 3D mesh tools like 3D studio max and animate the mesh using a software like Maya. 3D Studio Max and Maya are a bit professional software which you will have to spend some considerable time on learning.

Illustrator also can do these things up to a level. see http://www.webdesign.org/vector-graphic ... 13524.html

Following images shows the process of designing a 3D object using 3D wire mesh.

Some examples of animated GIFs that are animated based on the 3D wire mesh using a software like Maya.

After you design your animation, it is easy to export it to a GIF animated file.

Thanks for the help. But I don't know about 3D max or MAYA.
I used some little software like "ULEED COOL 3D"& made some.
Happy because that was my first GIF animation.
Cheers

I also used Ulead COOL 3D sometime back. It is a great software. However the version I used was lacking features like 3d wire mesh import from 3d studio, etc.... While you use COOL 3D, give a try to Adobe Illustrator too. Some of my friends told me it is good for animation as well.

However if you are serious about the animation subject, I'm sure you need to learn the combination 3D Studio and Maya.

I love to learn designing section. But I don't have much time for that.I am doing some little studies like COOL3D.I will try to learn 3D STUDIO & MAYA in future.

About COOL3D- made some Headers for websites. But I couldn't make more animations from that.It can make good animations.Options limited.
