I heard about that and Magneto has just confirmed it doesn't work over a USB to Serial converter. So we will have to see other options. If you have more PCI ports, you might be able to fix a Com port card that costs around LKR 1600.

Yes, he will write a small code when he has some free time. But unfortunately he is very busy these days. The other point is, if you can tell me whether you have free PCI ports in your PC, may be I can buy one for you?

Hi, We haven't forgotten you :)
Magneto confirmed that everything works perfectly after he tested programming a PIC with some ultrasonic sensors and indicators. He told me that he will submit some pics soon on that so we all can see. According to the current facts, it seems the problem is with your PC.

However I remember when we check your PC over teamviewer few months ago, the serial ports were working? Can you check them again. If those are working, it seems like a software issue.

this port was working also when I try with the JDM.
I think the is a problem in other pins of searial port like power supply, ...
is there any way to check them?

thankz.

I'm not sure whether it is possible to check signal line without a scope. It can be a difficult task to find maximum voltage level which should be 12 V.

Can you pass this to Magneto and handle the issue with him. He knows more than me on the current progress....
