He will confirm as soon as he receive it. He will test it and let me know about the problem.
If it is not working, we will send you another and if it is, then we can discuss on the next options.

Hi RKSK,

Magneto has just confirmed the board is working perfectly. He said erasing and read all work perfectly. It also detected the processor as 16F877A.

He will write a small program to check it and let us know. If that also work, then we have to suspect the RS232 port of your computer.

yes, i think the bug is in my computer.

i think its not a software bug. it must be a hardawre bug. do u remember, u connected me vid Team Viewer?

There are only two solutions :idea:
  • Buy a computer which have working serial ports. :(
  • Buy a USB programmer which costs near $50 :(

How about a USB -> Serial converter ? I'll get somebody to check prices on that.

I think so. I need to ask from Magneto whether he used them with this programmer.
