Herath, If you are really serious about doing a profession in to graphics/CAD, you can also consider buying an Apple monitor. I saw one at EPSI (I was told it costs LKR 80000 ). However the graphics quality is brilliant. I don't know what's the technology they use. But it really looks same as the display quality of their iPhone.

I am not seriously in to graphics. I do practice photography as a hobby. . So I do a bit of editing for prints.
I do not like apple products. They are so abstract. I am a bit technical and do not admire that abstractness. I like to go inside and see what's inside. Mostly, expensive LCD panels are made of expensive display technologies like S-IPS. A professional quality S-IPS panel would cost about 1000 US Dollars. .I do not have that kind of money.

And iPhone is just an overpriced featureless device which still can't make video calls via the cellular network.

Do you get headaches or eye strains when you use the monitor?. If so, It could be your monitors refresh rate. I use 85Hz on mine. (1280x1024 @85Hz). With contrast at 50% and brightness at 30%.When the natural light in the room is low, I always prefer to turn on lights in the room. This way it is perfect.

CRTs are not that bad. I love the great colours on my monitor. I do not like the LCD colours since I do a bit of photo editing.
But this CRT use 120Watts, So I have no choice other than switching to an LCD. (120Watts Vs 22Watts )

So,What is your CRT model?.

I don't have any Problem with my eyes or head i just want a monitor like this for my safety.
My Monitor is 1028X768 and 60Hz monitor. I'm using Screen Filter too.

See if your monitor support 75Hz or higher refresh rate. 60Hz is not good for eyes. I get headache within 20min if I use a CRT at 60Hz.

I remember ones I did this at that time Monitor supported for 80 then i tried to increase it to 85 then a message came.

"Synch out of range"

75Hz is also OK.

Those Message came when i tried it on Ubuntu. I think this happened because there is no suitable drivers for Ubuntu.
But this is working well on Windows and i am using 85Hz now.
Is 85Hz Good for eyes. And is there any monitor that have 90Hz or above

When the refresh rate is high, the image on the display is refreshed at faster. (85Hz means, screen refreshes 85 times per second.). Therefore you do not get eye strain due to reduced flickering of the screen.

High end monitors support high refresh rates. For my monitor recommended resolution is 1280x1024 @ 85Hz, but it can do 100Hz at this resolution. But using too high refresh rates are said to damage the display. 85hz is fine.

What about the idea with spectacles.They are more cheaper than buying a monitor.Some of my friends got such spectacles according to doctors advice.I didn't.I don't believe on that.I there any specs to protect our eyes from computer screen?there are some to protect our eyes from sun shine..but from computer screen.?

If we can get such thing,it is better & simple to use.We have to spend less money & only we have to use it when we use computer screen.

Some one tell me about this.
