Security simulation model for cognitive radio in Omnet++

Hello everyone, I need some help with a university assignment and I hope you folks can help me out. My assignment requirements are as follows.

1. Learning what the cognitive radio is and what are its possible apps.
2. Learning the C++ based Omnet++ simulation tool in .Net environment.
3. Design of a security simulation model for cognitive radio in Omnet++


I am currently downloading Omnet++ version 4.0p1 and will make myself familiar with it. Could those of you here who are familiar with the topic please advise me on Cognitive Radio, its security issues and how exactly I should go about simulating it in Omnett++? Many thanks.
