Google AdSense is good if you get more than 50% of your traffic from USA with at least 1000 users per day. If you can get such, you can earn about $10+ per day. (They predict one out of 1000 click on advert). There are blogs that take 10000 visitors per day so it is not a big target. If there is more clicks and the clicks are generated from common IPs, then you'll get banned. In other words, Google Adsense is hard to maintain and low earnings.

AdBrite is a good alternative. Give it a try. The display adverts based on geo location. For example US visitors will see US adverts and Sri Lankan visitors will not get adverts. There are lots of information about this subject in Web Related section. Chech that out (Use search on ROBOT.LK).
