Here is my Motherboard

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDe ... -us0000452

I think this has a PCI - E 1.0 slot. Since new cards are PCI-E 2.0.

Will an Axel GT 440 card work well on my motherboard ? I remember you said that PCI-E is backward compatible but need to show you the board and confirm for sure.

And also which card to buy? Axel GT 440 1GB DDR5 or Axel GT 440 2GB DD3? Will DDR3 and DDR5 will make any difference ? I've decided not to buy an Axel GTS 450 since for both card and PSU I cost about 20000LKR. And I am not sure even I only buy the card my PSU can handle it.

Thanks

It should work unless your PCI-E slot is broken. GDDR5 version is a little bit faster in gaming. Go with the GDDR5 one.

But I like more memory :?

If the difference is not much then I'll buy the one which has more memory. Will there be a so much difference ?

Thanks friend.

I bought the card yesterday,

Redline didn't have GT 440 because stocks are over and same for ATI cards.

So I bought this. Axle Nvidia Geforce GT 240. It's a 1GB card.

Here is a picture of it but this picture is different from my one.

Thanks for all your helps Man :)

PS: can you also tell me good settings to set to optimize my cards performance ? I mean settings not overclocking yet ;)
