you can learn the basic core language features of C++ with just a book.
And using another book you can learn some kind of environment like Win32 ,wxWidget or Linux xlib.
The correct way to learn xlib is to read the official documentation, if you feel it hard , then
read it carefully, there are no classes for those.
Then I recommand to read a book something like "Code Reading Opensource Prespective"
