Free E-mail to SMS text message in Sri Lanka

You can send SMS to your Dialog phone using any email address. To do so, first you need to activate the service on your Dialog connection.
Here is how to do it.
Type ACT<space>DMAIL and send it to 678.
After few hours, your service will be activated (<= 4 hrs).
An example is given below.
On the email, you need to type 77xxxxxxxx@dialog.lk on to TO: field.
Type something for the subject and then type your message.
This is how it will appear in your phone.
I heard, you are charged for each message you receive from Dialog. Please someone in Sri Lanka verify this.
