I want to search and refine results and when i press report icon reports
1. reports should be generated in seperate tab
or
2. Reports should be able to download as PDF format.

I need ur ideas. what is the best option among these two 1 or 2 for a web based inventory control system? I dont have any idea about report generation methods(1 and 2). It will be a great help if u guys can paste sum related links here or explain.
