My Father Repaired the UPS. He said me He disconnected a one pin of LM 339N IC from the circuit. now it's working well. I use my UPS like this until we find the IC.

Thanks for your help. If i want more help i will ask you.

Thanks again.

One time I connected a 12V Bulb and it lighted well 5 Minutes. After that i Disconnected the bulb. I couldn't check it because it started to rain and Lightning. I have Replaced the LM 339N IC. Now it's working well but when i connect My Computer to the UPS After Disconnecting AC current then UPS sounds a Long Beep and then Lights Red and Yellow LEDs then Turns off. But when i connect the Monitor it's working well. I tried to Charge the battery for a whole Night But it isn't charging. I Disconnected the battery from the UPS's Circuit and Charged it with a Power pack that i Found in Our shop it's a power pack that we made. Not a Bought one. It's Transformer is 16V and 2 AMP. But I checked the Power Pack But it has 22V. I charged the Battery after that I connected it back to the UPS. But same as before can't Power on the Computer. But one time It charged a Bit from the UPS's circuit then gave the power to the Computer for a half second.

What this Might be?

Is there any way to Repair UPS Battery?

Thanks
You might be already knowing that the LM339 is a quad voltage comparator.

This is used for many applications including Voltage Window Detection, Voltage Level Detection, Power-On Delay Timers, etc... Try to trace the circuit to see where the IC is connected.

My idea is still you need to replace the battery. Since those are sealed led-acid batteries, there is a fewer chance to repair them.

Thanks Neo,

I will Check the Circuit board and replace LM339 again. Then I will Replace the Battery.

Today I Disconnected the battery from the circuit board then. I checked the wires that Give power to charge the Battery. The voltage was 8.5V. Now I am Charging Battery using an External Power pack That i Told you earlier. Now battery Is Charging.

What could be this Problem.

I think you right Neo.

after replacing LM339N the self turning off problem that i told earlier solved. But I have to replace the battery.

Thanks

Help Friends,

I have replaced my UPS's Battery. Now there is another problem, That is

After replacing that Battery I was charging my UPS for 24 hours because I thought
It might be good for my New Battery. When i was charging the Battery lights went off.
Then UPS began to Beep. Then After a half minute UPS turned off by itself. I didn't
Connect any power code that comes from Monitor and system unit. What could this be?

Please Help.

Have you placed the components intact after replacing the battery. I remember you were experimenting with a comparator IC?
What are the ratings of the battery that you have replaced? (is it a 12V, 7Ahrs?)

What happens if you power on the UPS now? Any beeps, indicators?
