I made a small amplifire circuit to set into the pc. I checked it with a external power supply and worked with good qualitliy sound output.

but when I'm getting power from pc's power supply, it gets lots of noice (seems it's the noice of HD Moters).

It tried with many capasitors to smooth the voltage, but didn't worth. also tried with both of 5V and 12V.

Have any ideas to fix it?

Ohhh.. Someone from ROBOT.LK faced this as well

It's a loud noice. and didn't get good result with your solutions. it seems i've to power it externally

It seems you didn't read the post clearly. Separate power supply is mentioned in that.

running it on a separate power circuit to any of your audio equipment....

I tried it before posting this topic. But I wanted to reduce the cost & stuffs.

you can try to solve this,
1.Use 10,000pF(104) capacitor between + and GND.
2.Earth your PC well.
3.you can plug off your PSU's fan.(This is not good)
4.use 104 between fan terminals.

I have tried 1 & 2 alredy and didn't got good result.

I gave up this work & never going to do it again

I think,this noise start in your PSU cooling fan.
because,cooling fan is directly connect to +12V output of PSU.(lot of PSU)
you can power by external Power supply to cooling fan.
but,you will unplug PSU.
carefully do this.PSU is very sensitive.

As I understood, you tell to power the psu fan externally & power the amp circuit from psu.

What's the meaning of this? why we go to unplug the fan? just we can give expernal power to the amp!

Anyway I gave up it and fixed the circuit to a old 4" buffel with a transformer to power it.

if want to undestand reson fore the noice start from psu fan,must unplug fan.so unplug fan,psu temperature will encrese.therefore,we must active fan from external supply.
