Congratulations first of all. Very well done!
With regard to finding a sponsor to find the funds for few days stay should not be a big thing at all. Expenses in HK is low comparable to some of other Chinese destinations. Would be better if you could first talk to even organisers and let them recommend you a hotel with details on expenses such as distance from hotel to venue of the event, etc... Then you can find out the required budget which you can request from a sponsor.
If you submit above information along with documents on the event such as letters/certificates, etc... it is not a hard thing to handle this. I'll let you know some potential companies which you would easily get help.
