what is the best way to get money from another country?

I have done some small projects with US person. some LOGO redesign & some little.Buyer is wait to send money.
I have moneybokeer account & pay pal.Moneybookers don't support in send money option in US.Other thing is I haven't use pay pal yet.Buyer is asking a way to send money.I have only little amount 5$ per one project & 15 per other one.Both payments pending.

I wanna know the best way to get paid from US.I am talking about commissions & other issues regarding this.
Buyer asked me to send a check.I think it will cost more than 5$ to post a check US > Srilanka

We have some systems in banks to get money from other countries,such
Xpressmoney
MoneyGram
Western union
Coin star
etc

but the case is commissions are high.

I am trying to get my payments direct my bank account .

Any one have such experience or any idea?
