24v Auto Cutt off battery Charger

Hi, guys I have requirement for charge 24V battery with 28V DC 45A transformer, but i want to add auto cut off function for the transformer. pls help me..

You mean to monitor battery voltage level and cut-off charging after the battery is fully charged ?

You can do it either with a comparator or a small microcontroller. In my case, I used a small microcontroller (ADC) that cut-off charging, measure voltage and if fully charged, stop further charging until voltage level become lower which is checked every few minutes (continuous charging system) or else continue to charge. A battery charging regulator such as LM317, LM338 would help you to cope up with charging topologies for different batteries.

Also, there are battery charging ICs that are made for different charging method. In my case, I found it is less interesting
