With personal starter, you can pay bills. But it seems you can't accept credit card payments from others if you are a seller.
If you are getting this only for buying purposes, you can simply go for PayPal (which is more recognised).

Very good. I'm sure ROBOT.LK will be behind you on this.

I now understand your requirement. It is not possible to get fund to Sri Lanka through PayPal. AlertPay should work for you. But I'm not so sure whether you can accept payments with Starter Account.

Read the terms of the freelance site that you are going to work. May be they support more options.

Nipuna, can help you on this. I remember you told me about getting a Master card from a website and use it to receive payments?

Regarding the use of Debit card for internet transactions... I highly advise you to take a credit card for this purpose or else keep a separate account with a small balance to link to debit card.

For PayPal, go to this link https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/websc ... ty-outside.
When you select Sri Lanka, you will see it is only possible to send money. I remember one person told me it is possible to create a non-Sri Lankan account that supports receive money and assign the card. But this is a risk.

According to AlertPay link https://www.alertpay.com/info/Withdraw.aspx, it says it supports withdrawal of money using
1. Check (worldwide), 2. Credit card (worldwide), 3. Bank wire (worldwide) which is a good news.

So it seems like AlertPay is the best option for you. You can use your card with them as they clearly state they support (2) worldwide.

Hey Buddy

Freelancer sites Don't support Alertpay.
But every site support for MoneyBooker. it's cheaper than paypal and Supports all over the world.
I have a MoneyBooker account too. Now I am not using that Payoneer Debit card Because its fees are high.

Almost every freelancer use MoneyBooker. After you made an account link your bank account to that. Then you will be able to get your money direct to your bank account.

If you have any Problem ask here i will help you.

You can Use Moneybooker only for freelancer sites. For PTCs you need Alertpay
