Dear Friend ,

I am not sure what are available in Pettah now regarding shift register IC's. But I am quite sure ,there should shift register IC's. (Specially 74 series ICs)

Regards

As Magneto stated, 74 series has several TTL shift registers. Have a look at 7400 series integrated circuits list. It is essential to have a brief knowledge on 74 series ICs.

These TTL ICs are available in Pettah.
7491 - 8-bit Shift Register, Serial In, Serial Out, Gated Input
74164 - 8-bit Parallel-Out Serial Shift Register with Asynchronous Clear

There are several CMOS ICs available too. If you use them you will need to put some extra caps to cut of stray and use buffers (sometimes) since output power handling capacity is low in CMOS. If you need to know the availability on CMOS ICs, I'll check tomorrow for you.

We also import electronic parts mostly micros and DSPs in large quantities. However the availability depends on present market trends. If you are buying more items, we can definitely give you a very good price. You can submit your requirement under "Project Assistance" and we can quote on that. (Magneto is the in-charge of that.. I think you already know him).
