That seller didn't agree to ship for cheap.

So I have to forget about it.

So can you suggest me a good card that suits me? According to this http://www.nvidia.com/object/graphics_c ... y_now.html (I found this link from a Saman's post) GT 240 seems better that GT 440.

But I am confused about that too :?

Can you help me to choose any other good card?

Thanks

For gaming at low resolution GT240 seems to be good. But GT440 will be good for general tasks at high resolutions. Also, GT440 has more CUDA cores. That's if you hope to offload the CPU from video decoding, rendering tasks.

HD5670, and up cards are also quite good for gaming, unless there happens to be driver problems. Those small cards like GT240, GT440 are really meant for home theater systems and light gaming.

Well, I could not say much about the condition of the card. You will have to either ask from the seller or buy and see. :)

I need a help to decide. :?

What do you suggest buying this one around 10000LKR http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-Nvidia-GeFor ... 5649bc24b3

Or buying this new one for around 14000LKR

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZOTAC-ZT-98GES3 ... 2752786452

I can't decide. Because there is only about 4000LKR difference. :?

I asked some people they said now these are not available to buy new only used ones are available. And couldn't find a place to buy an used one either. So won't be able to buy one from here.

Thanks

I think Zotac is better than HP. That HP part is probably a part pulled out from a HP branded computer. And those branded computers have the cheapest possible materials. That is, they might have cheapest memory chips and cheapest VRM designs, so there won't even be any overclocking ability, if you ever need it.

Sure, you won't be able to find any new 9800GT since they are from from few generations back. I think 200,400,500 and now it is the 600 series (100 and 300 series are just for OEMs).

To be honest, I can't decide on any of them. That is why I bought my card from the local market. . But Zotac is a better brand than the HP i think.

By the way, what are the games that you expect to play?.
