Post by Face » Sat Sep 25, 2010 2:40 pm

Moneybooker Account

I create an Account in MONEYBOOKER

Nipuna I need to know some details about that.
These are the things I need to know

1.Do I have to verify my Address?(They are asking for that to send a letter to that address I have given there)

2.I still didn't link my bank account or debit card.Is it compulsory?

I will ask more questions in future

(I registered in freelancer also.I used your banner in your blog to register as respect the information you gave me about it)

1. Verify your Address. it's Easy they will send you a Letter in 7 or 10 days with a Code then Add that code to your account then your account will Be verified. i have done this too.

2.Add your Bank Account. Srilankan Debit cards are Restricted to Adding to accounts like Paypal,Moneybooker and Alertpay. Srilankan Central Bank Restricted them :x

Today I added my Bank account it's so easy.

First Find your banks SWIFT code you can Find it By searching the Net.
Then Follow MoneyBooker Instructions.

Thanks for Helping me by Registering Under me.

You Should Contact Scriptlance Staff. I didn't have a Issue like that before.

Oh. Now I remember, on SL my first earning was 10$ so i didn't able withdraw it because minimum amount to Withdraw is 30$.
Then I got 40$ for my second project and I withdrew it without any Problem. (i did my second project after 3 or more months later because of my A/L)

You can do something for that. That is Do another project and Receive money for that then you will be able to withdraw. :)

First, I do not agree with this.
nt. Srilankan Debit cards are Restricted to Adding to accounts like Paypal,Moneybooker and Alertpay. Srilankan Central Bank Restricted them
I have recently added my Web Card (which is a debit card) to PayPal. You must have enough funds loaded to charge about $1 by PayPal. Also you need to call Sampath Bank Credit Card Centre and ask them the 4 or 5 digit PayPal code which you need to enter back to their website.

If I come to your current problem, I also think you will have to earn more money by doing some more projects.

I think Nipuna is correct on Debit card issue. I can not use my VIsA Debit for online purchases. :(
Web card is the only solution if you do not have a credit card.

This is not a Central Bank issue. You need to talk to your bank and get the card unlocked for international use. Your card seems only usable for local use. Most of the banks normally issue their Debit Cards as such for security reasons (can directly withdraw from your account unlike in a credit card where you can complain and stop the transaction). You will have to talk to the manager and ask to unlock for international use. At least this is the case at Sampath Bank.

I still think, using a debit card online that is linked to your main account is too dangerous. However Sampath Web Card is a real good solution for this (since Credit Cards are too restricted to take in SL).
