How to setup Gmail to forward to multiple addresses

Post by Neo » Wed Jun 13, 2012 3:40 am

With Google mail forward function, it is true that we can only forward email to a single address. Here is the way to add multiple (or even single) forward email addresses using filters.
  1. Login to your account
  2. Go to Settings

  5. Gmail will send a confirmation request email to given email address with a link which you need to click and confirm. Or else you can enter the number specified in that email to the confirmation box given which is under the same tab.
  6. Repeat above 3 steps to all the email addresses that you need the current emails to be forwarded
  7. Logout from current gmail account and re-login to refresh the confirmation process
  8. Go to Filters tab and click on 'Create a new filter'

  9. Enter the criteria. For example, if you want to forward all the emails that are coming to current email address, enter current email address to To: field.
  10. Click on 'Create filter with this search'
  11. Select options you like with selecting a email address from the forward list. Just select one for now.
