PHPBB mod install

After Following the instructions on how to setup a web server here at EC.
I installed PHPBB 3.
I got interested in the Points Mod here at EC.
I downloaded the mod , and finished the file edits (I use AutoMOD).
When i go to /install_ultimate_points.php.
I get an error below.

Ultimate points is a huge change and I do not recommend you to use Auto MOD for that. It is too dangerous.
I usually do the changes manually since I can be fully sure on the changes.

First thing is to check whether the ultimate points supports the phpBBB version you try on. I have installed that on 3.0.5 and it works just fine. Finally check whether you have added all the file mods and database mods as defined in the xml file.

I can only tell you that when you do the changes right, it will work at once. If you need further help on this, you may add on phpBB forum.

Now i have edited the files myself and uploaded onto my localhost.
when i go to the install file again i get the same error..
Please tell me why ?
The mod topic on the PHPBB forums is locked , if you don't know the answer , i have to start a new SRT there

I'm asking the same thing again. What's the phpBB version you are trying to install and whether the Ultimate Points supports that version?

According to what I have found the latest Ultimate Points version is 1.0.6. This supports phpBB 3.0.6. If you are trying to install it on a phpBB version higher than that (The latest is 3.0.8 however UP doesn't support this yet), it is likely that you need to do it at your own risk. If you know php and database better, it won't be a big deal.

For me, the error seems to be an incompatibility issue.

I have installed UP 1.0.4 on phpBB 3.0.5 and it all works fine.

Ohh ...
I have 3.0.7-PL1 !!
I wont upgrade to 3.0.8 because i don't know how , i have a ton of mods installed , I'm afraid that i might loose them ...
