We usually discuss PHP and MySQL together. In this section you will find loads of material related to MySQL databases including several tutorials. Please make sure you give a good title (heading) to your topic. "My SQL" doesn't address your issue. So please make it more descriptive as "What is MySQL" at least.

My sql is basically a database, it would be good if you first learn basics of html and php before starting learning mysql.

Pansophic, Nuwa is learning Java and I'm sure she is pretty much interested with Java based technologies such as JSP, etc... Anyway as you said, php/mysql is the best combination ever.
