Post by Nipuna » Thu Feb 18, 2010 6:50 pm

I am Using UBUNTU For 2 years now. Is it a Good thing? I think it's Good.
I am using windows for Surf the Internet Because my Modem Doesn't work On Ubuntu. If it work I use Ubuntu for surf the net. Because Ubuntu is Free and It's also Free of Viruses too.

Please Tell Me how to Use Prolink H9601c USB ADSL Modem exactly as on Windows XP? I know a way A friend of mine told. But it's bit difficult.

Try this Linux driver provided by ProLink.

The instruction at this Ubuntu link might be also helpful.

Not sure, you need to try them out. The last one is widely used according to internet reviews.
I'm not expecting what Windows does from Linux as both are different systems right from the concept.
Try Googling to see what others are saying about Ubuntu with same ADSL modem.
