See this site: http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnec ... ctors.html

Also, you might be able to beautify your power supply as below :)

Is this ATX or AT?
AT comes with a switch where ATX is powered from mother board.

Then it should have the power button connected directly to the unit. On AT PSUs, the power is on by the user, not from the motherboard. So what you have to do is, trace where you unplugged the cables and find the connection from power on/off switch to the motherboard. There should be 4 wires going to the power button in the casing.

If it is AT (not ATX) then the CPU is powered with a switch directly connected to the PSU. Can you tell me what type of switch you have on the CPU? Is it a press type (just a little micro switch is there) or a push type (push to make, push to break type)? We need to clarify your PSU type clearly here. Since AT and ATX are totally different systems without knowing the exact model, it would be hard as you thought. If it is AT, there should be a switch going to PSU directly. If not (ATX), it would be powered from mother board and you will find the power button of the casing going straight to motherboard.

Okay, so power button is there. Why don't you carefully connect 230 A/C and check the P8 and P9 cables for the power lines you need now ? ;)
