Hi,
I think you have used these & know prices as well. Please give me a small idea about prices? (I can't visit Colombo to buy a PIC  ) Then I'll can tell someone to buy for me.

Also what about 8pin micros?

I know ROBOT.LK doesn't like to involve in earning profit. I have a stock of these micros imported directly in my stock.

ATMega 64A - Rs. 1200
ATMega 128 - Rs. 1200
A good PCB board to solder ATMega SMD - Rs. 500

PIC16F877A - Rs. 500
PIC ICSP programmer - Rs. 1000
PIC16F877A and the ICSP PIC programmer is very popular in Sri Lanka. I sold more than 5000 units for last 3 - 4 years. I'm keeping a little margin on this. It will take nearly 2 - 3 days to send the ICSP programmer for you since I'll have to solder them.

dsPIC30F4011 - Rs. 1200
PICKit3 (out of stock) which costs nearly Rs. 5000 is recommended to program/debug this chip.

The registered post cost would be around Rs. 150

Note: I can also send you other electronic items as well by keeping a small margin. However it would be difficult for me to involve if either the order quantity or total amount is not satisfactory. I welcome microcontroller orders since I always maintain stock to supply them to few leading institutions at the moment..

No stock at the moment. If you can specify the number, I can give you a quotation.

ya ,
if you want to sell your products and wants to let other ppl in here to know about your competitive prices , then
right way to do is, advertise your products in a seller sties [ you can find a free one] and give a donation to
this site's server costs, and site admin [neo] will put your banner to there, or put a thread as a main susponser
request. Feel free to contract him, he is a nice person. And since this is a '.org' site neo is also responsible to
not to keep profit or make it all beneficial to the internet community.Which means '.org' sites are normally welcoming
that kind of sponsorship.

Sites like this are online depends on donations and sponsorships , both ways you can advertise your products to
who are interest and it will helps this site to not to run out of server bandwidth and server costs.

Since if you start this then many ppl will do the same thing , then this site will become spamer's dinner party.
then it will definitely eat the bandwidth that is available to users who registered here.

Hi Sandun bro,
It's great to see you in ROBOT.LK. I agree with you on your point. However my intention was to make microcontrollers available to our guys here. So they can start experimenting. If they are stuck without parts, it is not good. Rksk is already experimenting with microcontrollers provided by ROBOT.LK. So I have no purpose to sell micros for anyone here and Neo knows it very well.

But what you have told was also correct. If someone is willing to sell his products here on the sole purpose to earn profits in whatever way, it is not correct. But I'm sure you understand my intention now. You will have to spend some more time with us to get to know each other ;) . I hope to be more active in the near future.

This has not yet happened. I asked him several times to put some PPC type ads here. But he thinks that it will change the meaning of ROBOT.LK. I still think ROBOT.LK can run by generating its own funds. If we collect some excess fund and we don't need them, we can spend that to buy some development boards to talented youngsters like RKSK. Let me PM him again 8-)

BTW: I read some of your interesting technical posts in your personal blog. Why don't you share those articles with us in ROBOT.LK? I'm sure you can become a Team member of ROBOT.LK quite soon if you work for the benefit of the community. According to Neo, what we get is satisfaction by helping needy people.
