Ooops...
I do not know if you will be able to use it without problems. It depends on your hardware configuration. And it is your personal choice too.

If you only want SP3, why don't you download it straight from MS site.

Standalone file

I use SP3 from the day it was released and it didn't put me in any trouble. It is bunch of KB updates that was made in to a single package. Also, there isn't any requirement of a key to install this on your existing Windows PC.

Though I couldn't see any significant difference in terms of outlook & features, it is highly recommended to install by MS. (At least it will avoid eating bandwidth for updates :) ).

There is one other point. Why don't you guys install Windows 7. It is fantastic and perform better than XP even on low configurations. Believe my word, Windows 7 is fantastic in all aspects. Not a worst release as Vista. See https://robot.lk/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=57.

I don't have a DVD writer Neo. That's why i am not downloading it.

By the way I will download it and use it.

If I install Sp3 after formatting will it request a Key?
