An English learning software

Post by Nipuna » Fri Sep 16, 2011 10:17 pm

Hello

About 5 minutes ago I saw a TV commercial. It had an English learning software.
(That can be seen about only 2 seconds since it's not a software commercial)

I've seen that kinda software when I was little and not knowing anything about computers.

That software works like this, ?
It plays videos that interact with the user. People in those videos ask questions from the user and then user answers via mic then those people in those videos answer for the things that user answered.

What I like to know are Names of such software.

I think any one among you guys must know what are they.

After you tell me the names, I can download them :D

Thanks

What you are looking for is an interactive spoken English training software. Though those are named as 'interactive', I'm not sure these software/CD/DVDs will recognise your feedback and tell you whether you are right or wrong.
EuroTalk seems a good one.

There was a voice recognition software called Dragon Natural Speaking. I used it years back for some uni projects. With this one, you will have to speak a lot until the PC is done with training your your voice. After that you can use this to type on Word, start programmes, etc... by voice commands. It can be that you have seen something like that.

Thanks friend.

But the software I told is all a learning software not a program that get voice commands

I added "interactive " to type easily, I know to interact very well it must be a software that has artificial intelligence ;)

Thanks a lot for the link.
