Best ways to promote ExpertCore.ORG among local community

According analytical reports on our web server, ROBOT.LK is getting lots of traffic from US and Europe through search engines, social media publishing like Twitter and Facebook and RSS feeds. At the very beginning ROBOT.LK was launched exclusively to support local engineers, technicians, under graduates, school children and rest of technology enthusiasts. However, after several months, the scenario was changed by search engines that diverted lots of international visitors to us. So we have changed our plans to make it suitable for all the people irrespective of nationality with same aims & objectives.

According to recent discussions we had, there were lots of suggestions and some made in to action. The first one is search engine registration, SEO, social media and RSS feeds. This was a great step taken ahead by us and we are still gaining great results through them. This will continue the lifetime of ROBOT.LK without any doubt. Secondly, Magneto has suggested to get ourselves introduced through popular science magazines. As a result, he has taken necessary step to advertise in Vidusara. Most of the local users will agree with me that it was very effective. Lots of Sri Lankan users had joined within one week of the advertisement. Thirdly, Magneto suggested about having stalls in several Technical Exhibitions. Due to some difficulties, we had to postpone this.

ROBOT.LK belongs to all active members and keeping it popular among local community is also a responsibility of you all. Since we do everything possible to keep things going on in a higher pace, I thought of opening this topic to get your ideas and suggestions to get ROBOT.LK in to grass route level. I must also mention about the two remarkable Promo Team Members Nipuna and G-sparkZ. They are doing a great job and there are few other members who had Invited their friends through "Invite a friend" feature.

Please add your ideas & suggestions and join in hand to hand with us to make it public among local community that will help to improve the life standard of our people. I'll also add my ideas on this topic as well.

I would like to suggest display notices in technical colleges ,all around Sri Lanka. Because even there are lots of technical discussion forums for Computer Science in the Web , there are few forums for discussing subjects like Mechanical Engineering , Electronic Engineering , Control Systems , Robotics and microcontrollers.

Students who are studing in technical colleges have very much interesing for doing some practical stuff specially with mechanical , electronic and electrical and robotics. But what I have notices is, there is a huge lack of qualified technical staff in technical colleges , who have sound therotical knoledge in above subjects.

Then we can do massive help for them , by solving there problems. I am sure it will very much help full for advancement of our country as there are the future of our country

I think that If we can do some projects or Workshops in schools... technical colleges...In institutes like NIBM,ICBT,APIIT,MIIT...ect. it will be a good way to promote our site.we can give a clear idea to those students about using Expertcore for the advancement of their studies & how to use Internet in their undergarment...we can target them to register in the site.because they have idea abut webs & IT.those are the people we should target in marketing EXPERTCORE.and the important thing in that way is,we have sure on them that they will register in the site & use generally...It will be a good experiences that they also can meet EXPERTS live....

In those workshops they can learn a lot from EXPERTS.about their careers advice ect....it will be really interesting thing...

we should post new topics daily about robot.lk on lankan forums like elakiri.

it will give daily new visitors to robot.lk.

i'm unable to do it because of i'm using a mobile (se510i) to visit net. it costs more and more rupees.

I am sorry to say that I don't use much forums..I will try to register in those forums & I will get help from my friends for this.
I have such a idea about to promote this.Because we should have such ideas robot.lk always helps us...

I don't use more forums.I use ADSL unlimited package & doing some studies.
*.these days I got my new job & busy with that.Yesterday i started my online education works.now I will try my best to do it....

We can do this & some day we will reach the highest range.....
