How to use Function keys directly without having to press Fn

It is a headache I had to press Fn key always when I need to use function keys. I wanted to have the functions directly and the special functions like brightness increase/descrese to come with the Fn key.

Finally I found out, it is nothing to do with the OS but with BIOS. Change your BIOS as follows.

Go to System Configuration tab in your BIOS. Then, select the Action Keys mode toggle. Turn them to DISABLED.
