Problem with Samsung DVD Writer

Yes. I was hoping to clean the lens. But because DVD writer works if i shake the cable so i felt lens isn't the problem. After shaking it works one or two time then stop working again.

I did one thing before 1 hour ago. I was thinking to try anything.

I removed my system unit's cover then removed the DVD drive by unplugging all the cables and removing all the screws then plugged the DVD writer again. Then tried ejecting re inserting Discs about 10 times.(Normally the problem starts after one or two CD ejecting. )

This time the problem didn't start. It's about 2 hours now and I already ejected and re inserted a DVD more than 10 times.

Let's hope this to be like this even for 2 years.

After working some days problem started again.

And One of my friends has asked from PC-House about this and they were surprised by hearing that and they have said that they will replace it if there is a problem(They ware surprised because they even hadn't asked about such error. ).

So I removed the drive and checked is there any guarantee seals and there isn't any So I opened drive's case and removed three flexible cables and reconnected them again.

Now DVD Writer doesn't recognize any only the light is blinking and the door is working. I plugged it to all the SATA ports to check and still doesn't work.

So now definitely there is a problem and I can claim guarantee with confidence
