Does our Solar system has a limit?

Post by SevenZero » Wed Jun 08, 2011 6:34 pm

This is about an explanation made by Lord Buddha to define a world system with life or “Sakwala” as a solar system where it has a limited light spreading distance (Suryayage alokaya pethirena pradeshaya). A world system that a Lord Buddha is born called “Magul Sakwala” or precious solar system. So not all Sakwala’s can produce a highly intelligent being as Lord Buddha. We are lucky, our sakwala is one of them.

I was suspecting this idea since I never thought there can be a boundary to our solar system. Since I’m one of Pruthagjana so I have obviously Vichikichcha (suspecting the words of noble ones by thinking logically based on the sense perceiving world – what we see, what we hear, etc..). Since we are able to see distant stars, I thought there is no limit for light and particles to travel through universe. Even though there was several hypothesis (unproven guesses based on mathematics and physics), this was the belief of most of the scientists before the Voyager 1 and 2 passed Pluto and reached the edge of the solar system.

And the truth is, there is a boundary. This is named as Heliosphere by scientists. I suspect those who have learned astronomy in our age learned this. Read following links to have a good idea.

If there are aliens who are looking at our solar system sees it as a huge comet. They see the Hileosphere which is constructed from dust particles maily thrown away from sun and stationed in a kind of zero gravity state. Things we thought we knew are no longer valid now. And it is still unexplainable on what will happen if we go outside the Heliosphere and enter to realm of Milky Way Galaxy. That’s why the NASA says “Expect the unexpected” on this voyager mission.

For me it seems the stars we see from here are just too powerful. So they can’t hold any living beings. A live system is essentially with a small sun with a defined border (Heliosphere) (as explained by Lord Buddha). The point is we can only see them as pretty large comets. Not as stars.

Day by day, science gets close to Buddhism.

The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Covering both the natural and the spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all things natural and spiritual as a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.

If you guys are interested, we can discuss. If not, just ignore it (obviously there is no end to this search). This is only for your knowledge.

Thanks for Sharing Friend.

I read about this Heliosphere some months ago in Vidusara a News paper. It said that Voyager ships is about to cross Heliosphere.

I think the other start we see might have them. If not they don't have a limit and i think it's impossible. But we see them as stars since the light passes through the Heliosphere. This is my Idea I don't know right or wrong.

I will Definitely say this is right if i could go out here ;)

And I really like These stuff since i was little. I do believe there are Aliens out there and Lord Buddha said that too.
And I do believe some day Mankind will Meet Them surely.

Thanks

I'm thinking whether the stars we see are so large that resulted them to overlap emitted particles with the ones from other stellar systems. If a heliosphere exists, we should see it first before the light from star since the heliosphere is made out of particles. I think those stars are too hot to form life. Even the dwarf stars we see can be too hot than we think.

As you said, we need to wait until the Voyager expedition is completed.

Yeah It's True. :)

But if that is we could see Heliosphere when we examine Sky with Telescopes or Satellite or something(I mean outer space things) . (I could be wrong)
