Please tell me a free software that i can convert audio files into text. Please hurry up This is very urgent.

There are two major types in Speech Recognition.

1. Natural speech recognition (Complicated)
2. Pre-defined grammar recognition (Comparably easy)

However there are ready-made libraries and software available.

If you want to integrate speech recognition to your software, then you need to install a speech recognition library.

Microsoft provides one free for Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio.Net but this is inaccurate.
Dragon Natural Speaking is the best I know but a bit expensive.

Other than speech recognition, I don't know any other way to do this.

You might need to fix a Mic and play the audio files from speakers.
