Enigma, do you know any problem which Nipuna has to face if he fails the exam?
There is no problem. He can sit for the same exam many as he like. You are in stress Nipuna. That's why you feel like lost of confident. This has happened to me several time when I was doing the BIT 1st and 2nd year. Even if you fail one or two subjects ( My wish is not that to happen) ,it doesn't matter. Its because you have passed two subjects and you don't have to take them again. If you absent all the subjects I know they will consider as a absent student and the draw back here is you will get batch missed . You will have to sit for the 1st year again. You will waste money and your parent's hopes as well. Except for the previous post I never force you to sit for the exam, and I always ask you to decide. Again I have given you the all the options. Its up to you Nipuna. My personal opinion is sit for the exam. At least for two subjects. Because if you work for those two still you can get good marks for them. So decide what you want.

I called BIT office now and asked about Reregistration They said they will put that in BIT website in September.

I also asked about the mark Division thing. They said there is no such things. Is this True?

So My Mother told me to Sit for the exam If i fail and couldn't go to Second year then register for 1st Year and Do from the Beginning. And I felt the same way.

And I am thinking to sit for the Exam anyway and write as I know. Then let anything to happen.

But My mind isn't good to do study in these days I will do nothing and write to the exam as i know.

Why don't you do some meditation and cool down the mind first. Get the strength of universe in to your mind and body. This really works. When mind is confused, you will not be able to concentrate on anything. Do some 'awareness of breath' exercises.

After that when you study, concentrate only to what you are studying. Say that you are studying Java. Do you think of Maths while doing so. Just concentrate in full. If you remember some other thing, just signal your mind that you are only concentrating Java for now. However you can note down what you remember on a paper for later reference.

90% of people who fail exams are failed not due lack of intelligence but due to lack of concentration. I'm not even sure that you are concentrating to this post while reading ;)
And I am thinking to sit for the Exam anyway and write as I know. Then let anything to happen.
Writing the exam to let anything to happen is not the right path. The right approach is to prepare yourself with your maximum effort to write the exam your best.

I've done this Meditation but I don't know the right way of doing and don't have anyone to get helps so I couldn't do it well anytime. So I am not always do it. I thought to do it yesterday but mised it because i don't know the right way.

I tried to do this 2 years before too but couldn't do well. Mostly because I don't know how to breath when Meditating. So I was never able do it right.

I became so lazy lately that's the Major reason for my Failure. I wasn't like that before but now :(

PS: My Exam Center is Ananda College. Your School Neo :) But I've never been there :o

You might start a topic like 'How to train mind to concentrate on studies?". I'll do my best to give you a start.

Excellent. You will get the feeling just as when you step in to a holy land. It's of cause a land of brave soldiers even from ancient times. The exact place of Ananda College which is commonly known as 'Paranavadiya' was the sinhalese army camp which was made to fight against Portuguese.

I have added an image for you.

Sorry for digging up this thread again.

I am telling this from my experiences,

DON'T EVER JOIN CLASSES FOR BIT THOSE INSTITUTES SUCK.

They just got money money and didn't teach well (Actually nothing). I had to do self studies. (Yes I know we need to do self studies too because institutes can't teach all but they didn't teach any :x )

By checking the answers it seems I am gonna fail Math :x Classes didn't do anything, I was able to get even that much for Math because I met good friends there who did Math for A/L and they helped me to learn. But that didn't enough.

So Semester 3rd onwards, I do self studies and don't let anyone to join classes and do the mistake i did. (Fortunately I could understand things that I couldn't understand last year, I don't know why some stuff were too easy. But I didn't get them well last year :? )

To repeat Math next time, I'll get helps from friends and if I could I'll find a Math teacher from my area to get lectures from him/her. And I'll buy that recommended book too.

So my advice is,

DON'T EVER JOIN THOSE INSTITUTES THEY ONLY THINK OF GETTING MONEY FROM YOU.

Oppps... bad experience then. When you say that I have to admit that as truth.

Okay, with regard to maths in BIT, I'm sure you can get more help from ROBOT.LK. Though I don't remember some of the maths, I guess I can easily memorise them and try to help you. We have mathematics section in ROBOT.LK, https://robot.lk/viewforum.php?f=102. Please submit your questions, theoretical problems, etc... there with a good heading so it would be useful for other students as well. May be you can ask the whole class to participate on those threads so we can have a good discussion.

I hope I can spend some time to answer your questions but kindly ask one question at a time. When that part is 100% clear let's open another topic and so on.

Okay... Go ahead ;)

Cool Thanks Buddy :)

Oh you gave me an idea, I've forgotten that, That is participating all my class friends here for Math problems ;)

By the way, I don't need to start Math right now because I have to get it again in 2013 (actually along with my Semester 4) So after Semester 3 then I'll start Math again it means after March 2013 :)

Thanks friend Good to see you are back :yahoo:
