I also think Android is the future mobile platform. It has already proven good points over other OSs. It can fight neck-to-neck with Symbian (both written in C++).

In the other hand, Java is platform independent. That means you can run Java on OSs which have a JRE release (Java Run-time Environment). Almost all popular OSs supports Java including Android, Symbian, etc....

What's the phone model you are planning to buy? (Is it HTC?)

Aruna, we are friends. Just call me Neo.

also Thilina dic. made a huge change in my life.

I found it from a news paper ad. i saw it's a commercial product of a sl guy and i'll can make it free for me.
after i found a java decompiler and decompiled it. but i couldn't understand anything in that codes because i didn't have anyknowladge in java. then i learned some from internet and understood the mechenism of the registration part of it.
then i made a key and activated full version of t.dic on my phone.
it was the 1st time witch i learned JAVA.

after it my friends also asked for keys for their phoes. then i made that keyGen and gave them.
it was the 1st time witch i learned J2ME.

after i thought to publish it on internet,
i found a free webhoster and a free domain. then i made http://www.ekmobile.tk as a result of it.
but at that time i only had knowladge in HTML.
i uploaded some other apps to my site and made some html pages.

at those days i found ROBOT.LK.
i found there is a web developing language name PHP from here and learned some about php from here and NET.
it was the 1st time witch i learned PHP.

by the time passed i learned more and more about PHP and powerd my site with PHP. now it's a nice wap site with more features. see http://www.ekmobile.tk

so, it was a result of t.dic also.

but still it runs on a free webhoster and with a free domain.
yesterday it alerted me the end of it. because my free hoster had suspended my site because of high resource usage. after i contact support team, they re-activated it and told me to move a paid account.

but i have no any way to buy a paid hosting. therefore the end of ekmobile.tk is coming soon. sad!

bye.
