### How to use Mathematical Symbols in Posts

Hi guys, I have seen some of you are not knowing about the mathematical symbols available in Unicode.

These two lists are very helpful.

thanks.
I was thinking about suggesting you to add latex support if it is possible. i have seen it in some mathematical forums.

yes of course ,
anyway the standard way to way to publish a math equation is using LaTex or MathMl,
There are modules for free , I think you can easily integrate that to this site. But i don't know
how much these modules are secure not not!

something like this is really fine for the work.

Yes, LaTeX is very good. However using LaTeX is bit complicated for novice. Have you used LaTeX ? I only used it once or twice in the university to make reports. So my feeling is it is far too complicated for people in the ROBOT.LK. It was introduced at a time where there wasn't We didn't yet discuss high level mathematics other than simple maths we discussed with Nipuna (for BIT-UCSC). At a time where we have some advance mathematics users, I would think of it. But for now, using UNICODE symbols is much much more easier Have a look at my answers for Nipuna's mathematics related questions. Need help on Set Theory for example. Symbols looks fine for me
