Connecting your Microcontroller to PC
Most of the people complaining that they can not connect there microcontrollers to PC. The reason for this in many occasions , is wrong pin connections between MAX232 IC and PC and also MAX232 IC with microcontroller. Here you can see very clear diagram , which explain all the story between PC- MAX2...

Re: A trouble with JDM programmer
Now you have three more things to do. 1. remove the cable from the PC and directly short the Pin 2 and Pin 3 of your computer serial port. And as you did , write someting on the hyperterminal and see , wheter you can see what you are typing. This test has no effect of the cable and if this fail , we...

Re: A trouble with JDM programmer
Dear Friend ,
You have shorted Pin 3 and Pin 4. You have to shorted Pin 2 and Pin 3. You can see pin numbers in the port with
small letters. Please see those and select the correct pins.
Short the two pins , which are in black border box in below diagram.

Good Retulator for working with 3.3V
Most of the times , when we are design electronic circuits , we have to use both 5V and 3.3 V. Because some electronic components working in 5V and some are in 3.3 V. LM3940 is a low cost , but good regulator , which input 5V and output 3.3 V. So it will easy to work with this IC , when we have to w...

Re: A trouble with JDM programmer
Dear Friend , According your pin diagram in serial port , it seems , either your pin diagram wrong or serial cable is incorrect. As those are standard serial cables in the market , most probably the diagram could be wrong. I am sure what view you have drawn of your male and femal ports. Always draw ...
