Re: 9V ???? ???????? ?????????? ?????
The 9v battery that I know is this. 9v.jpg If you are looking for electronic experiments, why don't you go for 6V or even 12V. Both voltages support 7805 standard 5V regulator directly. Both 6V and 12V are very common and cheap. Also, if you want 9v, you could use a 12V battery with a 7809 regulator.

Re: Make a touchpad using pencil
There is no big logic in there. It is just two voltage sources that detects the resistance and from there predict the pointer. When the carbon layer in not continuous, you will find practical problems as seen on the video.

Re: Industry to visit
After a long time.... How are you doing? Welcome back to ROBOT.LK! There is nothing called "Electronic Device manufacturing" in Sri Lanka and I'm wondering whether your real assignment is to find such places. If you ask a question from electronics lecturers, why all these electronic engineers are mo...

How to interface ADC0804 to microcontrollers
Signal control on ADC0804 1. Make CS = 0 and send a L-to-H pulse to pin WR to start the conversion. 2. Keep monitoring the INTR pin. If INTR is low, the conversion is finished and we can go to the next step. If INTR is high, keep polling until it goes low. 3. After the INTR has become low, we make ...

Re: LM338 based 1.2 – 30V 5A Adjustable Power Supply
You mention "bulk"... you should be referring "buck". No, it is a smoothing condenser. Buck is a a different method of connecting a cap in combination with a inductor coil which stores energy. Find more information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buck_converter LM338 is a linear regulator and refer ...

Caps are for ripple rejection. yes. For more info, refer datasheets of both regulators.

Tutorial on interfacing a GPS chip with microcontroller
Here is the circuit diagram and a working code (in Basic). Code is not so good, you can simply convert it to C. 1.GIF If you are from Sri Lanka, you can buy all these components from TRONIC.LK . $baud = 9600 $crystal = 11059200 Config Lcd = 16 * 2 Config Lcdpin = Pin , Db4 = P0.2 , Db5 = P0.3 , Db6 ...
